Is this a manifestation of the anger and hatred caused by open borders?

When Anders Breivik staged a one man bombing and shooting massacre in Norway last month the obvious question on everybody’s mind was “Why?” The shooter had actually posted a 1500 online document called “2083: A European Declaration of Independence.” In his self-claimed masterpiece he says that a lot of the fuel that ignited the motivation for his planned actions had to do with the growing multicultural diversity and immigration policies of the government.

In essence, he claimed that the sanctity and genuine pristine existence of Europe is being tarnished and tainted by the many people who are migrating and building lives on European soil.

The developing riots in London, the heart of another European country, seems to be founded on sentiments that are reflective in Anders rationale. Over five hundred persons, young people and children really, have been arrested so far. The law enforcement authorities along with the political leadership is scurrying to analyze the situation and respond with a quantitatively like-minded and effective strategies. Tonight, approximately 16 000 police officers are expected to be deployed on the streets of London in an attempt to decisively stamp out further looting and “criminality”, according to the British prime minister.

I found it interesting that many of the views being expressed online are suggesting that the root cause for such wanton acts of community destruction lies in one word: immigration. The many Londoners who were posting their comments  felt somewhat betrayed that their governments have been allowing people from other parts of the world such as Africa, Latin America, the Caribbean and the Middle East to come rather easily it seems and settle in England. Commentators stated that the majority of these immigrants do not in any way contribute to teh development of the London community. they in effect are getting a free ride. One online post said that it is certain that London is never going to be the same after these riots.

From gathering the information I conclude that there are very many Londoners, and I assume Europeans in general, who are feeling hurt and trivialized as immigrants move to their countries to seek a new life. That, to me is a scary realization, and a festering injury. I recall a few months ago that a British member of parliament did echo a very strongly worded challenge to the government to put a halt to the high levels of immigration in England. So, even the legal authorities are confessing that immigration in Europe is getting out of reasonable control.

I don’t know how many persons have had a chance to read Anders manifesto that I referenced earlier in this post, but it seems very clear to me that there may be even at this moment a host of Europeans who are already taking up the baton from him and are preparing to take back their exclusive Europe even if it has to be done through the parts of a blood revolution. As someone who is from one of the geographical areas that has been identified as an immigration source market, I am keeping a keen eye and ear on this situation. Anyone migrating to Europe I guess needs to be astute and make sure that their wellbeing is protected now and in the long run.

Finally, I don’t suspect that the eradication of the current London riots will mean the problem has been solved; that will be like stopping the entrance of a rabbit or ground insect. All that is going to happen is that the creature will find another place and another time to expose itself. So, last month was Norway, this month is London. Where  and when in Europe will be the next manifestation of attempted anarchy?

Anders Breivik called his shooting of the teenagers and youths the "ultimate love gift"

If you haven’t yet heard, then let me inform you of the utter human tragedy that invaded the land of the Nobel Peace Prize last Friday.

For those of us here in St Vincent let me put this in terms that we can all easily picture. Imagine that on a calm Friday in capital city, Kingstown, a sudden explosion disrupts the tranquil business activities. When the euphoria and smoke settles  you can see that the Financial Complex is badly damaged; several people (7 to be exact) are dead, and various body parts are strewn across the streets.

One can suspect that the entire country’s attention, including all the law enforcement man’s power, will be focused on that scene of destruction, disbodiment and death.

Imagine, as well, that at that same time the youth arm of the ruling ULP government is on the island of Bequia awaiting a speech from the Prime Minister whose office has been damaged from the blast.

The youths hear of the bomb blasts on the mainland and are relieved when a police officer comes on the island and so they flocked around him. Suddenly they are told by the officer that they are going to die; he opens random fire on them.

Several of the teenagers take to the ocean to try swim to the mainland; some are killed in the water. Others are shot when they come back ashore. Still others are chased across the tiny uninhabited island and gunned down like they were sitting ducks in a video game.

The police does not get to Bequia until 90 minutes after the gunman first started shooting. The gunman willingly surrenders to police and claims although the killings were atrocious, they were also necessary.

That, in essence, is what the people of Norway are facing and dealing with right now.

The quietly determined gunman has admitted and accepted full personal responsibility for the Friday slaughter. His name is Anders Breivik (pictured). He claims to be a Christian with extremist views on the far right.

The point of this post is to highlight the Christianity claim of Anders. I am first to say that I can understand his feelings of hatred of Muslims and others who have been immigrating to his beloved land; nonetheless, the teachings of Jesus Christ does not tell His followers to actively pursue violence against persons. In fact, we are to love them that hate us and do them acts of kindness.

Christians are to look forward to their real home in eternity because the earth is fallen and is just like the Titanic. It is just a matter of time before she sinks!

Jesus Christ has mansions awaiting His followers in His homeland where God the Father lives.

Yes, there are Muslims who do not accept any criticisms of Mohamed and they are willing to literally kill any and all who oppose them. They do not take “no” for an answer.

However, the Christian’s fight is not against flesh and blood. How many times have not Hollywood or some public figure with some measure of influence not say something condescending of Jesus Christ or of the Christian faith?

Just this morning I am reading a quote from Simon Bolivar that one of the greatest fools in history is Jesus Christ. As mad as such a statement makes me feel, I am not going to go to Venezuela and cause carnage in revenge. Because Jesus Christ is God’s empowered Son, He is more than able to defend His status and so there is no need for any mortal to come to His rescue. As we say, the truth will always come out.

Anders also is expecting that all Europe will be in anarchy and coups in or by the  year 2083. He has asked for an open court hearing so that he may fully explain his actions in court tomorrow Monday July 25, 2011.

He has also been motivated by the actions of the unibomber in 1995 of the Oklahoma City. So each act of violence is likely to be used as a study text for a future such attack.

This act also was done by someone without a prior criminal record but who wanted to prove a point and send a message to those he felt were “betraying Europe.”

I wish to extend my sorrow and emotional support to all in Norway at this time. I believe you will use the strength and resilience you have cumulated during the good years in order to help you navigate out of this your historic Black Friday.
